Carob Chip Cookies II


These Carob Chip Cookies are the equivalent of Chocolate Chip Cookies but without the caffeine of Chocolate. Servings: 10 Large Cookies

Prep Time: 15 minutes

Cook Time: 10 minutes

Total Time: 30 minutes

Equipment Needed: 2 Bowls, Measuring Utensils, Cookie Sheet

Ingredients:

2 Cups All Purpose Flour

3/4 teaspoon Aluminum Free Baking Powder

1 teaspoon Salt

1 3/4 stick Earth Balance Butter

1 Cup Cane Sugar

1/4 Cup Brown Sugar

2 Tablespoons Almond Milk

1 teaspoon Alcohol Free Vanilla Flavor

1 Egg (OR) 2 Egg Replacement

1 Cup Carob Chips

Directions:

1. Pre-Heat oven to 350 degrees. Combine Flour, Baking Powder, Salt.

2. In a separate bowl, beat Earth Balance Butter, Sugars, Milk, Vanilla until creamy.

3. Add Egg and beat well. Gradually fold into Flour mixture. Stir in Chips. Bake for 9-11 minutes on 350 degrees or until golden brown.

4. Cool on Cookie Sheet for 2 minutes. Remove onto wire rack or until cool surface to cool.
