Raw Carob Icy Melts - Flooper (Food Blooper)
Okay it sounded good BEFORE the execution, but it sorta fell short at the end. Maybe you can figure out the problem?
Equipment Needed: Cupcake papers, Measuring Utensils, Food Processor
Ingredients:
1 Cup Coconut Oil
1/2 Cup Carob Powder, sifted
1/4 Cup Maple Syrup
Optional: Peppermint drops
Optional: Peanut Butter, dollop in each Cup
Optional: Coconut Flakes
Optional: Almond, whole in each Cup
Answer: I did not sift the Carob Powder first, so I had lumps of Carob floating in there, which would not have been that bad except when I pulled it out of the freezer, the Coconut Oil coagulated together leaving a unattractive dessert. The good news: it actually tasted pretty good! I do not know when I am going to try it again, though.
